Uma Nivas is an organization based in West Bengal, dedicated to the welfare of women and children. In this region, only 15% of children have the opportunity to attend school, and girls' education, in particular, has been gravely overlooked, resulting in very few girls completing primary education.

Didi, a devoted monk, took the initiative to establish the school Uma Nivas. I had the privilege of shadowing her for three weeks, capturing moments through photography, and offering my assistance.
